On the 11th September 2019 this page was set to Draft deletion with the reference R2 (which I don't entirely follow). A number of amendments have been made to the references to provide the additional authority about the article which was sought. :: Hi Mclarenfan17. Without commenting on the current situation, I'm aware that Tvx1 is a problem user with an incredibly long history of blatantly lying/misrepresenting policy. User conduct/harassment is a serious issue on Wikipedia and since the community (via AN/ANI) has failed to resolve the ongoing harassment you're experiencing, I'm going to recommend filing a [[Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests|request for arbitration]]. -[[User talk:Fastily|FASTILY]] 03:30, 20 January 2020 (UTC) |

Arbitration case opened
You recently offered a statement in a request for arbitration. The Arbitration Committee has accepted that request for arbitration and an arbitration case has been opened at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kudpung. Evidence that you wish the arbitrators to consider should be added to the evidence subpage, at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kudpung/Evidence. Please add your evidence by January 28, 2020, which is when the evidence phase closes. You can also contribute to the case workshop subpage, Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Kudpung/Workshop. For a guide to the arbitration process, see Wikipedia:Arbitration/Guide to arbitration. For the Arbitration Committee, CodeLyokotalk 05:09, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Draft:Peter Donebauer deletion
On the 11th September 2019 this page was set to Draft deletion with the reference R2 (which I don't entirely follow). A number of amendments have been made to the references to provide the additional authority about the article which was sought. Odd IPv6 contested deletions
Hi. I requested CSD deletions on four user pages yesterday that were giant bricks of (likely copyvio) Tamil language text. You deleted one of them (Monika thavamani, thanks), but the other three remain (Mpavatharani801213, Suchithrar99942, Priyankam14082001).
I noticed one of them was contested today at User talk:Priyankam14082001#Contested deletion in Spanish Viola las políticas del usuario de Wikipedia en inglés + sin traducir
, which translates to "Violates Wikipedia user policies in English + untranslated", which sounds like supporting the deletion, not contesting it.
The IP has posted several others (Special:Contributions/2806:2F0:92E0:C3B:6930:F552:2DD0:DC95/64) that similarly seem to support deletion, not contest it. I left a message at the talk page of the latest IP just now, though I don't know if they'll get it, or understand it. What else do I need to do? Thanks. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 02:27, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Update: All four user pages now deleted. —[AlanM1(talk)]— 20:00, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
More problems with an editor harrassing me
Hi Fastily,
Some time ago, I came to you with concerns about an editor who was hounding me. I followed your advice and took it to ANI, but unfortunately nothing came of it. I felt that he managed to drag the discussion out long enough that admins would be deterred from doing anything because of the amount they would have to read and by claiming the whole ANI report was petty revenge on my part. He has a bad habit of wiki-lawyering.
The hounding stopped for a while, but it has since flared up again—most notably here where he has spent six weeks dragging a discussion out by refusing to provide sources for his claims and engaging in original research. The subject is car numbers in a motor racing series; an almost trivial subject matter. It is currently being discussed at the no original research noticeboard, where the gist of his argument is that because sources never defined the phrase "permanent numbers", editors could not be sure what it meant. He is also trying to argue that those same sources which use the phrase "permanent numbers" contradict themselves as a way of proving why he was right all along. I think this is a pretty specious argument and another example of his wikilawyering.
His pattern of behaviour is again quite clear to me. He only ever edits in the current season article or in discussions related to it and he only ever opposes me. I believe that he does this because he knows that I have been a major influence in the articles on the subject, and that it is the work that I am most proud of on Wikipedia. Some of his recent edits suggest to me that he has very little knowledge of the subject given that his comments have been factually inaccurate (he claimed that something happened recently when it has not happened for 25 years). He has lobbied to have me blocked at ANI on several occasions to no avail, and once it became apparent that admins were not taking the action he desired, he started his campaign of harrassment.
I want this to stop. I find dealing with him to be incredibly frustrating and I believe that his actions are deliberate. Every discussion that he gets involved in winds up being dragged out for weeks. However, I don't know what to do about it. ANI is the obvious example, but given his talent for wikilawyering, I have no confidence that anything will come of it. I would be happy with a two-way IBAN or a mutual TBAN where we both stay away from a topic that the other nominates. I suggested that last time and he initially agreed to it, but then nominated a list of topics for the TBAN, many of which I edited but he did not. This, more than anything else, proves his harrassment because he had no reason to nominate those topics other than to frustrate my editing practice.
Could you please make some suggestions to help me? Mclarenfan17 (talk) 11:33, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
- Hi Fastily,
- I hate to be back here so soon, especially when you have not had a chance to respond to my post, but there has been a development at WP:NORN.
- One of the editors involved claims that I had deliberately kept "false information" in an article. I had reverted some of his edits because he had not provided any sources and when I asked him to, he posted something that failed both WP:RS and WP:VER. I pointed this out in the WP:NORN discussion, which prompted this response from Tvx1, who claimed that I was "trying to talk my way out of [trouble]" and implied that this was something that I regularly do. This, I feel, is blatant misrepresentation. It is quite clear from the discussion that the source was not suitable. I also think that Tvx1 is trying to redirect attention away from his actions.
- I'm sorry I have to keep doing this, but it's obvious harrassment. Mclarenfan17 (talk) 00:42, 20 January 2020 (UTC)
