This template is used to notify editors on a talk page that additional restrictions apply on the article. It imposes 1RR and additional optional restrictions on an article. Administrators may apply this template to talk pages of articles relating to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people.
- Optional restrictions
- 1RR (default=yes) imposes the sanction
You may not make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on this page
. It also adds some explanatory information in the collapse box. - Consensus required (default=yes) imposes the sanction
You must discuss your change on the talk page before making it
. - BRD (default=no) imposes the sanction:
You must follow the bold-revert-discuss cycle if your change is reverted
.
Note Consensus required and BRD restrictions should not be applied to the same article.
IMPORTANT: When applying this banner to a talk page, it is required to also add {{American politics AE/Edit notice}} as an edit notice to the main article. Failure to do so renders the restrictions ineffective. Page restrictions must also be logged at the arbitration enforcement log.
